I can offer you a chooice of products to purchase or you can bring your own.

♦ If you choose to let me apply your wedding day make-up, I will make an appointment for a
Complete bridal make-up rehearsal prior to your wedding date. This can be as soon as you want. Then on your wedding day we will arrive to apply your personalised look while you relax and are pampered.

The Make-up Rehearsal
At your rehearsal I will get to know all about you and the details of your wedding that will help me create the perfect look for you. Such as your dress (style, colour), bridesmaids dresses, flowers, lighting (day & evening), your hair style, headdress.
Generally brides want a natural, classic or romantic look, but whatever you choose….. this is your day and I will work with you to create the look you desire.
I will suggest some looks for you and then I will apply a full make-up. The rehearsal is for making sure that you have the exact look that you will be walking down the isle with, so we will keep working with it until you are completely satisfied.
I will make detailed notes (and photo) for my records; so that on your wedding day I have everything I need to replicate your look and you can just sit back and be pampered with the confidence that you will look your radiant best!
I will also be giving you some tips and advice for your own personal use. And if you want to jazz up your look for the evening, I’ll show you how to do that too.
Your make-up will feel weightless and stay on all day and evening. The only thing you may need to touch up is your lips and if you have oily skin, possibly a little powder or oil controller. I will make sure you have enough lipstick to touch up with if you need it or you can purchase a new lipstick from me. (and gloss if desired)
The cost is calculated for rehearsals to take place at my Studio in St. Osyth. If this is not possible there will be a charge for coming to you.
Ideally a daytime appointment is best, unless your wedding is in the evening only.
Please come to the rehearsal with your normal make-up on. (this gives me an idea of what you are used to) if you never where make-up, come without it.
Please bring a swatch of your dress and the bridesmaids dress if possible or photos.
You may bring photos of any make-up look that you like. (I have books here for you to look at too)
You are more than welcome to bring along family or friends, sometimes it’s nice for them to give you their opinion too, please just inform me when you arrange the date.
The rehearsal usually takes between 11/2 - 2 hours, please allow for the longest time just in case.
Mel’s Top Tips:
Get professional skin care advice asap, it’s amazing how great your skin can look in just 4-6 weeks with the right skin care routine. (I’m a professional skin care consultant if you would like some advice book in for a free consultation)
Always have a hair style rehearsal with headdress
If possible have your hairdresser come to your venue too
If you plan on having fake tan applied, have a trial run at least 8 weeks before to make sure you get the right shade, it’s hard to look good when you’ve been Tangoed J
Have your eyebrows plucked or waxed (& top lip if necessary). It really helps open up your eye make-up, however, if it’s not done properly you can have scabs on your eyebrow and lip, so please make sure you go to a professional. Ideally it's great to have this done before your rehersal and then again a few days before your wedding day. It's important not to have it done the day of the wedding as it sometimes takes time for the redness to go.
The Wedding Day
I will arrive at your chosen venue a little early to set up my chair and work station. We’ll work out exact timings at the rehearsal. I’ve got 26 years of bridal experience under my make-up belt, so you can trust me to help keep things running smoothly and I’ll do whatever I can to help on the day. My goal is for you and your wedding party to feel pampered and relaxed and leave looking Gorgeous!
